Some veterans struggle to find a way to keep contributing past their early to mid thirties, but this veteran will be in his forties when he starts next season.

According to a report from New York Islanders insider Arthur Staple of NewsDay, the Islanders have agreed to terms on a new one-year deal with veteran Eric Boulton on a one-year two way deal.

Boulton has spent his last four seasons with the Islanders but has seen very limited play in each of those seasons, usually called upon to act in an enforcer role when the team feels they need a more physical presence. It's likely he will see limited use in the upcoming season as well.
