There's no doubt that unrestricted free agent Radim Vrbata would have liked to give a better account of himself in his final season before free agency, and that may be why the 35 year old veteran has yet to be signed.

Despite his struggles last season however, Vrbata is just one year removed from a terrific 30 goal campaign with the Canucks and that fact alone is likely enough to convince teams that he is an option worth considering and it sounds like several teams have in fact expressed interest,

According to a report from Craig Morgan of Arizona Sports, Vrbata's agent, Rich Evans, has confirmed to him that they are in the final stages of negotiation with multiple teams.

“We have been discussing the structure of a contract with 4 teams & hope to come to an agreement shortly.”

No word on what four teams those could be, but rumors strongly suggest that the Coyotes are among the four.
