DETAILS INSIDE
Jay Bouwmeester doesn't find himself on the wrong side of a big hit very often. Unfortunately for him, that's exactly what happened last night.
Late in the third period of the Sunday tilt between the Blues and Jets, Bouwmeester took the puck down the left wing boards and ended up in the corner looking down at the puck.
Winnipeg Jets big man Dustin Byfuglien took the opportunity drill Bouwmeester with a huge hit. Plenty of rough stuff ensued after the play, with Scottie Upshall charging in to help his teammate.
It's not everyday you a 6-foot-4, 212-pound blueliner flying through the air.
