Video shows progress on Red Wings new “Little Caesars Arena.”

While there is a ton of history and tradition attached to Joe Louis Arena there is no doubt that a new facility was sorely needed by the organization and it's construction is already well underway.

We've been getting some pretty frequent updates on the progress of the arena, but the video released today via Local News 4 in Detroit really highlighted just how far along the project has come over a short span this summer.

To show you just how much progress has been made, we've included two videos below, the first is from July 1st showing the current stage of construction at that point, and the second is the video from Local News 4 published today.
