Waiver alert: The Rangers let go one of their forwards!

With such a cap-friendly contract, some teams might want to add him to their roster.

The New-York Rangers had a lot of injured players but it seems they're getting healthier so the management had to make a move.

It's unfortunately Josh Jooris who had to be placed on the waiver wire earlier this morning according to ESPN Chris Johnston.

Either Pavel Buchnevich is expected to be back from his injury or Marek Hrivik did enough to prove Alain Vigneault he deserved a spot on the lineup. Hrivik took the most out of his 14 minutes of icetime yesterday as he was everywhere on the ice, forechecking like a madman.

Jooris signed a one-year/$600.000 contract with the Rangers this summer. In 12 games, he scored 1 goal and added 1 assist.
