Watch: John Tavares scores his first goal against the New York Islanders

Midway through the second period of tonight’s contest between the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders, Leafs superstar and unofficially the most hated man in all Long Island John Tavares scored to put the visiting Leafs up 2-0. 

Tavares has scored a lot of goals in Uniondale’s Nassau Coliseum, but this is his very first as a member of the opposition.
