Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas used his stick the wrong way on Thursday night, when he swung Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault to the head. Gudas received a slashing major and a match penalty for his action, and he will be meeting with the Department of Players Security of the NHL in the next couple of days. Perreault wad not seriously injured on the play.

You can see a video of the incident here!

Gudas, 27, was drafted 66th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2010. He was traded to the Flyers in 2015. In 286 games played in the NHL, the Czech defenseman registered 71 points and 490 penalty minutes. He added one point in nine playoff games.
