Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien had nothing but praise for his young Bruins.

He praised his defense saying they’ve done a great job and competed hard, limiting the Blue Jackets to only one goal last night. The Bruins ultimately won 2-1 against the Columbus team.

When asked specifically about 19-year old Brandon Carlo, Julien acknowledged his lack of professional experience may have been a factor, but wasn’t a negative shadow over the rest of his performance last night. Julien didn’t specify whether Carlo will be sent down or not, but said that they are still in evaluation.

Ultimately, Julien’s goals for the Boston Bruins match those of the organization where they will keep the best players to improve the team.
