The Philadelphia Flyers have probably one of the most underrated player of the entire AHL in their organisation. Danick Martel, 22, is proving everyone who has doubted him wrong since the beginning of his professional career. In fact, Martel had to prove himself at the junior level, as he made the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL) team even if he was undrafted. His size (5'8", 160 pounds) as always been his biggest enemy, but he fought through hit and find a way to have an impact on the games he played.

At the junior level, Martel produced 289 points in 228 games (regular season and playoffs included). The Flyers liked him enough to sign him as an undrafted (again) free agent in 2015.

He found a way to produce at the AHL level as well, as he registered 100 points in 161 games played (regular season and playoffs included). This season, Martel has 19 points in 16 games so far.

What do you think, Flyers fans? Does Danick Martel deserves a shot in the NHL?
