Wild announce signing of former first round draft pick.

The Minnesota Wild may be gearing up for a very tough first round playoff match up against the Dallas Stars, but general manager Chuck Fletcher is hard at work securing the team's long term future.

Wild insider Mike Russo of the Star Tribune broke the news just minutes ago, announcing that 19 year old right winger Alex Tuch has made the decision to leave Boston College and sign a three year entry-level contract with Minnesota.

Tuch was Minnesota 1st round draft choice in 2014, 18th overall, and has spent the last two seasons playing for Boston College. Tuch played 37 games in 2014-2015 and recorded 14 goals and 14 assists, and played 40 games this season recording 18 goals and 16 assists. Tuch already comes with a pretty solid international pedigree as well, he won gold for the United States at the World Juniors in 2015.
