The Minnesota Wild have signed restricted free-agent forward Ryan Donato to a two-year contract worth $3.8 million, the team announced Tuesday.

Donato was acquired from the Boston Bruins last February and posted 16 points in 22 games while averaging 15:33 per contest for the Wild.

While fans in Minnesota was disappointed to lose forward Charlie Coyle in the trade, he who landed in Boston, they were excited to get the 23-year-old winger, who is best known for his sterling performance at the 2018 Olympics, during which he put up five goals in six games for Team USA.

And now they will get to see him play for much longer!

On top of that, Minnesota made a pair of other signings on Tuesday, inking forward Nico Sturm and defenseman Carson Soucy on one-year contracts.

A busy day in Minnesota!
