The Minnesota Wild assigned forward Landon Ferraro to the Iowa Wild (AHL), the team announced on Sunday. The 26-year old forward was recalled by Minnesota on October 18th. He played two games with the Wild this season, scoring a goal. Ferraro suffered a hip injury on October 20th, and he missed the last seven games.

Ferraro was drafted 32nd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in 2009. He was signed as a free agent by the Wild last summer. In 77 games played in the NHL with the Wild, the Detroit Red Wings and the Boston Bruins, he registered 12 points. He spent most of his career in the AHL, where he registered 157 points in 225 games.
