Wild drops 5th straight game.

The Minnesota Wild lost their 5th straight games last night, when they were defeated 3-1 in Anaheim against a surging Ducks team.

The Wild took the lead in the first period when Jarret Stoll snapped a high-slot shot past ducks' goaltender John Gibson. It was Minnesota's first goal in three games.

The Wild's lack of offense is linked with the team's problems on the man advantage. Minnesota was 0-3 on the power-play last night and are 0-24 during their last 11 games. The situation is difficult for the Wild, especially because the players and coaching staff think that they are generating some chances but can't convert.

Zach Parise, one the most dangerous player offensively on the Wild's roster:

"I feel like we had some good stuff around the net and some good possession in the zone, but you leave the night with zeroes and you lose the game 3-1. It's our responsibility to score some goals."

The Wild has only scored 4 goals in the team's last 5 games. They will finish their trip in California with a meeting with the L.A Kings on Thursday.
