The Minnesota Wild completed some minor business on Monday.

Wild insider Mike Russo of the Star-Tribune is now reporting that 23-year-old goaltender Steve Michalek has signed a one-year deal with the Wild, and furthermore Russo is reporting that it is a two-way deal.

Michalek has been a staple of the Iowa Wild lineup over the past two seasons and that has earned him a deal that will play him $715,000 at the National Hockey League level but only $70,000 at the American Hockey League level.

Michalek appeared in 30 games for the Iowa Wild last season, recording a 2.63 goals against average and .919 save percentage.
