Minnesota Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher has announced that the team has re-signed 24 year old winger Zack Mitchell to a one-year, two-way contract worth $660,000.
Mitchell appeared in just 11 games for the Wild in 2016-17 going pointless during the stint. In 62 games with the team’s AHL affiliate in Iowa however, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound forward produced 11 goals and 22 points. He also led the squad with eight goals on the power-play.
The undrafted winger originally signed with the Wild as a free-agent in 2014.
