The Minnesota Wild have reportedly completed one of their smaller signings this offseason.
According to a breaking news report from insider Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, the Wild have agreed to terms with 26-year-old defenseman Zach Palmquist on a one-year deal.
Palmquist was signed by the Wild as an undrafted free agent and thus far has spent all of his time developing in the American Hockey League as a member of the Iowa Wild. Lavoie reports that this is a two-way deal which may mean he will finally get a chance to crack an National Hockey League roster.
Lavoie reports that Palmquist will earn $726 000 on this deal.
