William Nylander scores his first career goal!!

His first few games didn't go how he wanted them, but William Nylander changed that tonight by scoring his first career NHL goal.

Most Leafs fans are all hoping that Nylander will be a big part of the rebuild in Toronto. He has great skill and has been dominating the AHL so him getting a chance in the NHL was the obvious next step. He will be part of the Marlies when they begin the playoffs, but for now, Nylander will have some games to show Mike Babcock and the Leafs management what he can and will bring to the Leafs next season.

His goal was a great example of what he can do with a puck. After a won faceoff, he jumped on the puck, got into open space in the slot and then ripped it stick side past Senators goalie Andrew Hammond.

Congrats William on your first carrer goal! Hopefully you can add an AHL Championship as well this season!
