Wilson seemingly lucky to avoid suspension.

The Pittsburgh Penguins aren't going to be happy about this one.

There was some belief that Washington Capitals agitator Tom Wilson would face a potential suspension after he delivered what looked like a seemingly intentional knee of knee hit to Penguins rookie Conor Sheary.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has in fact disciplined Wilson, but he will not receive any suspension for the knee on knee and will instead receive the maximum allowable fine under the current collectively bargained agreement, $2,404.

To make matters worse for the Penguins. Sheary did not practice on Friday, perhaps a hint of an injury.
