Wings sign local goaltender to one-year deal

The Grand Rapids Griffins, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings, have announced that they’ve signed 29 year-old Bloomfield Hills native Pat Nagle to a one year deal.

The former Ferris State University goaltender has spent much of his career in the ECHL with brief stints in the AHL, most notably with the Griffins in 2014-15.

While it’s unlikely he’ll see any time with the Wings next season, just that fact that he’s within the organization must make the hometown boy proud.
