World Cup: Crosby Excited About Teammate

With the World Cup of Hockey over a month away, rivalries will be put aside in order for Team Canada to compete for championship glory.

 

Just ask Sidney Crosby, who has no issues playing alongside arguably the League’s biggest pest: Brad Marchand.

 

After scoring a career-high 37 goals last season, Marchand was added to the Canadian roster, and Crosby sang his praises:

 

“You look at the season he had—he’s proven he can be a lot more than just an agitator. He’s a really good player… I think that’ll be someone fun to join up with”, he told Sportsnet.

While both Nova Scotia natives might not play on the same line, Marchand will do more than just provide energy for his teammates- he could add a surprising scoring touch too.
