Yet another embarrassing blunder from Melnyk and the Sens front office

Eugene Melnyk and his buddies are back with a new hit!

In all seriousness, the circus in Ottawa under Melnyk is getting to become an absolute joke. Earlier today the organization announced the abrupt firing of CEO Jim Little for "conduct inconsistent with the core values of the Ottawa Senators and the National Hockey League.”

Little was on the job for just two months before his firing. What... the... f***... is going on in Ottawa?

The team, not surprisingly, have not offered up any further details surrounding Little's dismissal.

Sens insider Ian Mendes reports that there were "rumblings of discontent" amongst the Sens executive group, but is surprised by today's news.

This Jim Little firing doesn't feel at all like other Ottawa Senator executive resignations and firings. Those were generally between owner and employee. This one has big NHL involvement - both in the release of the news and the condemnation of the conduct.
