It's hard not to feel for San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl.

After putting together his most productive full season as a member of the Sharks in 2015-2016, Hertl has once again been hit by the injury bug, and it sounds like the problem may once again be his knee.

While there has been no official report regarding Hertl' status, Sharks insider Kevin Kurz is now reporting that the Sharks have pulled Hertl off of their current road trip and sent him back to San Jose to undergo an MRI. Kurz has speculated that the injury is in fact to the right knee again, but again that is not official.

Hertl has four goals and nine assists in 17 games as a Shark this season and it would be really sad to his season derailed by a serious and perhaps reoccurring injury.
