Young NHL star says he “would love to play for Flyers...”

One young National Hockey League star made a surprising admission this week.

According to a report from Philadelphia flyers insider Sam Carchidi, Calgary Flames star Johnny Gaudreau, aka Johnny Hockey, stated that while he would like to play a lot of seasons in Calgary, he hopes to play for the Philadelphia Flyers at the end of his NHL career.

Gaudreau made the statement during an assembly at Gloucester Catholic High School, which Gaudraue attended as a young man living in New Jersey. Gaudreau would without a doubt be welcome with open arms in Philadelphia, but he is a restricted free agent this season, and is likely looking at a long term deal from the Flames.

With that said, it may be a storyline worth paying attention to down the line.
