Vancouver Canucks' general manager Jim Benning announced today that young forward Mike Zalewski has been reassigned to the Utica Comets of the AHL this afternoon.
Zalewski played 2 games with the Canucks, collecting 1 assist and 2 penalty minute.
The New York native was signed as a free agent after his NCAA career with RPI.
In 36 games in the AHL this season, Zalewski picked up 8 goals and 9 assists, good for sixth amongst the Comets.
