Your Call: Are the Hurricanes better or worse?

Almost as important as what the Carolina Hurricanes did this summer, is what they didn’t do this summer. Some major areas of concern were addressed, but where the problems actually solved?

Do Carolina have a true starting goalie in Scott Darling? Will the ‘Cane be able to score by committee this season? Can they find a top-six center among their prospects, or do they still need to make a trade?

Only time will tell for sure, unless of course you already know the answers to those questions.

So, what is it then? Have the Hurricanes set themselves up to improve on their 36-31-15, 87 point campaign last season, will they be back in the Playoffs come April 2018?
