Your Call: Controversy in New York after a non-goal call from the refs

With the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens being the only two teams on the NHL schedule for tonight, all eyes are on the game in NYC. It’s a good thing too because an early goal from the Habs took an extension video review to determine whether forward Andrew Shaw kicked the puck into the net or not. 

The call on the ice was a goal, but the play was overturned when it was determined that Shaw had indeed kicked the puck in. But, the video evidence shows that Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist may have knocked the puck into his own net by accident.

Wow. That’s a close call. Lundqvist definitely looks like he tries to make a play on the puck, but whether or not he actually touches it… it’s tough to say. What’s your call? Good goal? Or no goal?
