No doubt about it, veteran NHLer Jarome Iginla has had a Hall of Famer career. But with the 40-year-old without a contract for the 2017-18 season and the puck set to drop on the regular season in just over a week’s time, is the writing on the wall? Could this be it for the legend’s career?

Interestingly enough, there’s still another option for Iginla and it involved the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. With the NHL refusing to participate due to a financial squabble with the IOC, the door is open for unsigned veterans like Iginla to represent their country on the world stage. Iginla, of course, has been a staple of Team Canada for nearly 2 decades and could provide the team with arguably the best available leader amongst any of the participating nations.

So what do you think? Would you like to see Iggy take another lap in a Team Canada jersey? Or should he pack it in and call it a career?
