In case you missed it, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings hooked up on a trade yesterday that saw Riley Sheahan and a 5th round draft pick head to Pittsburgh in exchange for Scott Wilson and a 3rd round draft pick.

Sheahan, a 25-year-old center, has no points in eight games this season for the Wings, but has speed to burn and will give the Penguins some much needed depth on their 3rd line. While he’s not likely to put up big points, the defensively sound pivot did manage 13 goals and 36 points in 79 games with the Wings in 2014-15, so he has the capability to provide the team with secondary offense.

As for Wilson, The 25-year-old winger also has no points in three games for the Penguins this season, but he did manage 8 goals and 26 points with the Pens just a season ago.

So, what’s your call? Who wins this swap? The two 25-year-olds are bound to be compared for the rest of their career, so who gets the better end of this deal?
