Your call: Will the Penguins three-peat in 2018?

Fans haven’t seen a team win a third consecutive Stanley Cup since the New York Islanders did it, four years in a row, from 1980 to 1983.

Can the Pittsburgh Penguins do it this time around?

Some might think it’s time that the Penguins are set to cool down. While they would definitely be called a dynasty after that, injuries and fatigue might be an issue this year.

The departures of goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and forward Nick Bonino will also be hard to forget. Netminder Matt Murray will have a much bigger workload, and hopefully, he won’t be bothered by injuries this upcoming season.

Same goes to defenseman Kris Letang, who has battled serious injuries; he will need to bounce back, especially after Trevor Daley, Ron Hainsey and Mark Streit left the team.

With all of this in mind, can the Penguins win a thrid consecutive championship? What do you think?
