Zucker’s wife rips the men who harassed her at the NHL awards

Some jerks managed to ruin Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker and his wife Carli’s evening on Wednesday as the couple attended the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.

Zucker won the league's top award for community service: The King Clancy Memorial Trophy, trophy handed to the player who demonstrates leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.

The forward and his wife, a Twin Cities media personality, started the #GIVE16 campaign in 2017-18 and have since turned it into the Zucker Family Broadcast Studio at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. The campaign has generated more than $1.2 million, and another $40,000 is going to the hospital thanks to a donation that comes along with the trophy for the humanitarian award.

However, some guys decided to be real jerks to Carli when a picture of her and her husband on the event’s red carpet was posted on social media. Some dudes, as she calls them, sent her message asking her if she was pregnant, calling her fat.

Carli was quick to respond via her Twitter account, telling them off and proudly explaining that she would never be a size 2 and that she loves her curves.

And as she points out, we think she looked pretty hot.

People feel so freaking invincible hidden behind a keyboard… We bet these jerks probably are the ones who need to lose a few pounds!
