The date was February 22nd 2007 and for some hockey fans it's a day that will go down as one of the most memorable moments they've seen unfold before their very eyes.

The Ottawa Senators were battling the Buffalo Sabres when Senators forward Chris Neil took out Buffalo Sabres forward Chris Drury with a hard blindside hit prompting retaliation from the Sabres. The Sabres sent out their goons and what happened next will go down in hockey history.

The Sabres went after Senators forward Jason Sepzza and then all hell broke loose prompting a number of fights including one between Senators goaltender Ray Emery and Sabres goaltender Marty Biron which then led to Emery fighting enforcer Andrew Peters. The mixture of chaos and excitement is captured perfectly by the call from legendary Sabres announcer Rick Jeanneret who does an incredible job of conveying the drama of the moment even now 10 years later.
