Artemi Panarin and Scottie Upshall drop the gloves!

This was unexpected and it was awesome.

The most recent Calder Trophy winner is not the kind of player one would expect to drop the gloves, but on Wednesday night Chicago Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin had his fill of St. Louis Blues veteran Scottie Upshall.

Not only did Panarin drop the gloves with Upshall however, he went all out to try and inflict as much punishment as possible, clearly looking to vent his frustration on Upshall's face.

It was a pretty back and forth tilt, one that resulted in the officials stepping in before too much damage was done.
