It didn't take long for Auston Matthews to make his mark as a Toronto Maple Leaf.
The Leafs were taking on Canadian rivals the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night and they were off to somewhat of a shaky start with Montreal claiming an early two to one lead. The Leafs however would get a power play and that's when Matthews capitalized.
After a number of passes in the Habs end of the ice, Matthews took a quick stride forward before snipping a shot past arguably the best goaltender in the world, Carey Price.
Things certainly look promising for Matthews thus far.
