The Toronto Maple Leafs' young star forward put on a show for fans who attended the Leafs' exhibition game against the Montreal Canadiens, recording a very impressive hat trick to keep the Habs winless in the preseason.
While the first goal may have been a bit of a softy for Canadiens goalie Al Montoya to give up, he clearly never saw the puck, the other two were goals that showcased Matthews full of array of talents.
Skill, power, and speed were all on display as Matthews cruised to a hat trick over the Habs.
