Bad blood continues between Canucks & Devils after knock out hit last season.

There was some serious bad blood between the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils last season, and it seems to have lasted through the summer and onto this season.

The bad blood stemmed largely from a big hit that was delivered by New Jersey Devils star forward Taylor Hall on to Vancouver Canucks veteran defenseman Philip Larsen. Some even believe that the huge hit from Hall player a role in Larsen's NHL career seemingly coming to an end when he left for the Kontinental Hockey League this season.

If you happened to miss the hit last year his a reminder of how it all went down, Larsen eventually had to be taken out on a stretcher.

Tonight it was the rookie's on both sides of the ice taking the punishment, first with Alex Edler of the Canucks drilling first overall pick Nico Hischier from behind.

Taylor Hall came back with another huge hit after that, this time on Canucks rookie Brock Boeser.

A lot of these guys are very young players, so this rivalry is likely just getting started.
