Breaking: Horrifying moment as NHL player has his wrist cut by a skate tonight,

There was a very scary moment on Tuesday night when 25-year-old New York Islanders forward Casey Cizikas was cut on the wrist by a skate during a match up against the Washington Capitals.

The incident was clearly an accident, but as you can see in the video below the skate comes down right on his wrist, seemingly with the full weight of someone trying to plant their foot back on the ice. 

Hopefully Cizikas will be alright.
