Not good for the Oilers at all.

The Edmonton Oilers were absolutely blown out early on Tuesday night during Game 4 of their first round Stanley Cup playoff match up against the San Sharks and forward Leon Draisaitl let it get the best of him.

In a reckless move that may very well cost his team Draisaitl delivered a nasty spear directly to the groin area of 22-year-old San Jose Sharks center Chris Tierney who went down in agony.

As Tierney hobbled his way off the ice and into the Sharks locker room, the NHL officials conferred and made the decision to eject Draisaitl for his actions, awarding him 5 and a game misconduct.

To make matters worse for the Oilers, TSN insider Darren Dreger believes that NHL's Department of Player Safety will "undoubtedly take a long look."
