This certainly will fit the stereotype of the "Big bad Bruins.

Boston Bruins first round pick Trent Frederic, selected 29th overall at the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft, was in action on Sunday night when his Providence Bruins faced off against the Belleville Senators in the American Hockey League and boy did he put on a show for the fans in attendance. You could tell that Frederic was looking for a fight through the course of the evening and when he finally got his chance to drop the gloves he delivered some serious punishment.

The only angle we've got of the scrap thus far was shot by a fan in the crowd but to be fair the fan did a pretty good job of capturing all the key elements of the battle that took place. Early on it looks like a pretty even tilt ad Frederic exchanges some shots with his opponent but as the battle raged on you could clearly see that it was Frederic who began to take control. Only a few moments later Frederic began to land several blows that went entirely unanswered and the final few shots of the scrap could only be described as big time haymakers on the part of the Bruins prospect.

It was a big looping right hand that would eventually catch his opponent square on the chin and leave him in a heap on the ice, much to the appreciation of the Providence fans that were in attendance on Sunday night. Frederic sent a clear message with this tilt and there's little doubt that other players in the American Hockey League will now be on notice whenever he steps out onto the ice.
