Canadiens pay tribute to victims of Quebec City shooting prior to tonight's game.

The Montreal Canadiens showed tremendous class on Tuesday night when they took a moment before their game against the Buffalo Sabres to pay tribute to the victims of the horrific attack in Quebec City.

Despite the fact that the tragedy took place hours away from Montreal the Habs called for a moment of silence and played a video tribute showing the vigils that were held after a gunmen opened fire in a Quebec City mosque on Sunday.

Unfortunately that senseless act of violence claimed six lives and left dozens more injured, but nonetheless it was wonderful to see the Canadiens showing unity with a city that they traditionally have a rivalry with.

Here's a look at the tribute.
