Corey Perry bloodied after taking a butt-end to the face.

Infamous Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry was the victim of a pretty brutal cheap shot on Friday, but he also may have gone looking for it.

During a match up between the Ducks and the Winnipeg Jets, Perry delivered a hard crosscheck to the back of 26-year-old Winnipeg Jets defenseman Ben Chiarot, something Chiarot took exception to.

The big defenseman quickly turned around and began to scuffle with Perry, and that's when he delivered a rather nasty butt-end shot to the face of Perry. The stick appear to catch Perry right on the jaw and his face was left bloody, forcing him to go back to the locker room.

The broadcast team announced that Perry had his face stitched up in the back, but it;s unclear how many it took to repair the damage.
