Crosby appears to get away with a cheap shot on Friday night.

The Tampa Bay Lightning weren't too happy about this.

On Friday night Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby appeared to trip one of Tampa's top forwards in Tyler Johnson, and to make matters worse for the Lightning there was no call on the play.

While some have come out and called this a slew-foot, it does not appear to be the case at all. At no point does Crosby pull back Johnson to slew foot him and honestly the argument could be made that this was an unintentional trip, although it does look like he may have extended his leg to clip Johnson.

Only Crosby will ever know his true intent, but you can watch the video and judge for yourself.
