It was a huge moment for both Sidney Crosby as an individual and for the rest of his team.
After being frustrated for eight games without goal, Sidney Crosby was granted a golden opportunity on Monday night to end his drought, but was absolutely robbed by a beautiful save from Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, however it was Crosby who would get the last laugh.
With the game on the line, and facing his ninth consecutive game without a goal, Crosby came up huge in overtime, making the best of an opportunity created by the pass of teammate Bryan Rust, and knocking home the one-timer beating Vasilevskiy and tying up the series at one a piece.
