Don Cherry slams Pittsburgh for poor play during first intermission.

To absolutely no one's surprise Don Cherry was his usual outspoken self during Coach's Corner at the intermission.

This time it was the Pittsburgh Penguins on the receiving end of the ire from the former National Hockey League head coach, although he did have something positive to say about one of their players.

According to Cherry the Penguins are putting out a lackluster effort this evening and in fact he stated he believed they lacked energy in the first period and only remained in the game thanks to a terrific performance from goaltender Matt Murray.
