Henrik Sedin records his 1000th point!
z

Henrik Sedin reached quite the milestone last night when he tied the game at 1-1.

He became the first Vancouver Canuck to record all 1000 points in a Canucks uniform. Even more fitting is who he scored it against. Henrik put the puck through the legs of former teammate Roberto Luongo. They played together for 8 seasons before Luongo was traded to Florida. Luongo even came over to congratulate him after he scored the goal, a classy move from the goaltender.

Considering he is more known for being the passer rather than the scorer, it made it all that more special for Henrik to score and nice goal off a feed from his brother to score the goal. Henrik has 233 goals and 767 assists in his 1213 games played with the Canucks. Hank has continued to produce in almost a point per game pace throughout his career and he along with his brother Daniel have been a dominant force in the NHL for a long time. The Canucks played a nice video congratulating their captain after he scored the goal.

Congratulations Henrik!
