Hockey goal of the year candidate!

For how many trade rumors there have been regarding key players of the Colorado Avalanche heading into the trade deadline, one of their top prospects has been dominating the College level.

Tyson Jost, who was drafted by the Avs 10th overall in last year's draft hasn't had any issues being a freshman with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks. He has 11 goals and 14 assists through 24 games in just his first year of College hockey. 

Last night he scored the best goal so far. It was so good that it will definitely get a few votes for goal of the year. Not bad for a freshman!

The Avs definitely need some help considering how bad they have been this year. They already have some great young talents playing for them and in their system. Jost just proved they have yet another great talent who they can look forward to have in their roster very soon.
