Joe Thornton's daughter makes his beard disappear.

It's amazing how much younger Joe Thornton looks when he gets rid of that giant scruffy beard. 

It seems like the Thornton family or Joe Thornton himself got tired of his beard while they were all stuck together during the mandatory isolation period and they decided to have a little fun with the whole thing before hacking it off. On Saturday Thornton and his daughter published a video online that was shared by the official San Jose Sharks account on social media, and the premise of the video is effectively Thornton's daughter getting rid of his beard with a little magic. 

It is obviously just a bit of video editing magic at play here and not any actual magical powers on the part of Thornton's daughter, but even that does the trick given just how shocking the contrast of the before and after pictures are. Thornton looks like an older caveman in the before picture with a healthy amount of grey in his beard, but when the beard disappears he looks like a man that could genuinely be 15 years younger than the guy we had just seen with the grey beard.
