John Hayden knocks down Foligno with the biggest punch of the NHL season!

22-year-old John Hayden is gonna be getting a lot of high fives when he heads back to the Chicago Blackhawks locker room on Thursday night. 

In just his 16th career National Hockey League game the Blackhawks forward dropped the gloves with Minnesota Wild veteran forward Marcus Foligno and it was quite the spirited affair.

While the veteran Foligno dominated the early parts of the fight, Hayden got stronger as the fight wore on and he landed what has to be the biggest punch we've seen in the NHL so far this season. 

Hayden reached all the way back for this one, and landed a massive right hook that buckled Foligno and knocked him down to one knee. That was enough for the NHL officials who stepped in to save Foligno.
