John Tortorella almost swears but holds himself back in hilarious press conference.

We got a pretty funny moment during a media scrum today from one of the National Hockey LEague's most notoriously grumpy coaches.

When Columbus Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella was addressing the current status of his team, he stopped himself just short of dropping the F bomb, something that elicited some chuckles from the assembled media.

In a rare display Tortorella himself seemed infected by the laughter in the room, and began chucking on the podium as he admitted he came close, adding that just a few years ago he would not have been so restrained.

 Perhaps this is a new Tortorella after all.
