The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety is going to have another hit to review in this series.

Coming off the knock out blow delivered by Brooks Orpik, in Game 2, a hit that left Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta's status for this series uncertain, the Penguins may have been out for a measure of revenge. Penguins defenseman Kris Letang may have found that revenge, but this may end up being a bad trade off for the Penguins if the talented defenseman misses any time.

Letang delivered a hit to Capitals forward Marcus Johansson and it certainly looked like he was head hunting. Letang left his feet prior to making contact with Johansson, and although he received only a two minute minor, you can bet this isn't the last we've heard about this hit.

To make matters worse, Capitals head coach Barry Trotz called out the NHL today for preferential treatment when it comes to Pittsburgh, something that will undoubtedly put more pressure on the League to make the right call here.
