We've got a classic throwback for you guys here and it is a throwback in more ways than one.

We're going back 5 years for this one to the time that veteran National Hockey League goaltender Marc Andre Fleury was a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Fleury and the Penguins played an exhibition game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena, the place where the iconic sports movie "Slap Shot" was filmed and it was during that time that the infamous prankster decided to have a little fun with the whole event. Fleury enlisted the help of broadcaster Dan Potash and recreated one of the most infamous scenes from the movie, a scene that just about every hockey fan in the world is familiar with.

In the movie itself it is Jim Carr that interviews Denis Lemieux of the Charlestown Chiefs and in this recreation Potash takes on the role of interviewer Jim Carr while Fleury, a French Canadian who absolutely nails the accent, plays the part of Denis Lemieux to perfection. If you are a fan of the movie you will find it impossible not to laugh at this one, and I'm willing to bet that even those of you who have not seen "Slap Shot" will get a good chuckle out of it.

The video itself was originally hosted on the National Hockey League's official website but I was unable to track it down there. Thankfully however a fan appears to have preserved it on Youtube so we all get to enjoy it once again.
